Gerald Greenwald, a former Chrysler Corp. executive who quit to lead an attempted employee buyout of United Airlines, has been named a managing director of Dillon, Read & Co., New York. Greenwald, 55, was considered the heir apparent to Chrysler Chairman Lee A. Iacocca before he left the No. 3 auto maker last year to become chief executive of United Employee Acquisition Corp.
