Steve Layton has been named senior vice president-development in the Koll Co.’s Southern California division. He will be responsible for all the company’s commercial and industrial development activities in Orange County. Layton had been vice president-development in the Newport Beach office since 1989. He joined the Koll Co. in 1985 as senior project manager for Koll Center Orange and major segments of the 100-acre Koll Center Irvine. Before that, he was a commercial broker with Grubb & Ellis.
