THOSE WHO CAN, TEACH: School districts are scrambling to find teachers qualified to teach the growing number of students with limited English ability, above. The Garden Grove district will dispatch recruiting teams to Colorado and New Mexico in the next few months. The County Education Department will hold a job fair this week to match teachers with schools needing them. . . . Says a Garden Grove district spokesman: When it comes to teachers of English as a second language, “we’ll take as many as we can get.”
