Chrysler’s 1st-Quarter Output Off 30%: The auto maker disclosed that its North American vehicle production during the first quarter of 1991 fell 30% from year-ago levels. Chrysler produced an estimated 298,564 cars and light trucks in its U.S. and Canadian plants during the January-March period, compared to 425,752 vehicles built a year ago.
