A Civics Lesson for the Schools
As a lifelong resident of Silver Lake who attended John Marshall High School, I was appalled to read (Glendale Section, March 28) that the Los Angeles school district has again failed even to consult the community before adding a major structure to the campus.
Let me suggest a civics lesson for the school district. They must be responsive to and support the community if they expect support from the community in return.
