Maddox Out of Intensive Care; Had Heart Surgery

ATLANTA — Ex-Gov. Lester G. Maddox was moved out of the intensive care unit Wednesday at Emory University Hospital, where he underwent heart bypass surgery. Maddox, 75, was admitted to the hospital Sunday.
