Cal State Fullerton, Houston to Meet in Basketball
FULLERTON — Cal State Fullerton has reached an oral agreement with the University of Houston to play the Cougars in basketball in each of the next two seasons, Titan Coach John Sneed said Wednesday.
Fullerton will travel to Houston next season, and the Cougars will play in Fullerton during the 1992-93 season. Houston, a national power in the early 1980s, played in the National Invitation Tournament this season.
The Titans are searching for one more game to fill out their 1991-92 home nonconference schedule, which consists of games against Drake, Pepperdine and San Francisco. The Titans will play Eastern Illinois, Butler and Portland on the road.
