Slaughtered Animals

Whether in a slaughterhouse or private home, animals being slaughtered do cry and people don’t like it (“The Slaughter on Franklin Street--It’s Not a Big Deal,” Metro, March 21).

If we could add the screams of the animals to those neatly-wrapped supermarket meat packages, our vegetarian campaign would be a shoo-in.
