Countywide : Company Buys 11 Wendy’s Restaurants for $6.5 Million
Southern California Food Services Corp. of Newbury Park has bought 11 Southern California Wendy’s restaurants for $6.5 million from American Restaurants Corp. ofVentura.
Co-owner Donald R. Beck said Southern California Food Services plans to upgrade the restaurants and expects to develop additional Wendy’s in the region.
Ten of the restaurants are in Ventura County and one is in the San Fernando Valley.
Charles L. Boppell, president of American, said the sale would let his company focus on the expansion of its Hudson’s Grill restaurants.
American will continue to operate 15 Hudson’s Grills and three specialty restaurants.
