More on Immigration
Reflecting on some of the problems enumerated by Mayor Steven Gourley of Culver City that result from Latino immigration (Times, March 28), I might also add that as soon as these new arrivals become citizens, they qualify for all the benefits of affirmative action--a system set up to rectify past discrimination. Ergo, the Anglo male is pushed even farther back down the line. What kind of justice is this?
