Mickey Smiles for a Special: Walt Disney employees formed a huge smiling Mickey Mouse with colored cards at the Burbank studio Sunday. The card stunt was more than just part of a bash to celebrate Walt Disney studio’s 50th anniversary--it was also the grand finale to an upcoming Disney special, “The Disney Studios: 50 Years of Magic and Memories,” set to air on ABC in mid-May. The 90-foot Mickey, created by 2,500 employees, was filmed by cameras on cranes and in helicopters.
