Hilton Hotels Corp.: The Beverly Hills-based hotel and casino firm said first-quarter net income fell 50% from a year ago to $12.3 million, while revenue rose 1% to $266.9 million. The firm said the drop reflected a weak U.S. economy and the sharp reduction in travel due to the Persian Gulf War.
