Iraq War
Robert Scheer’s column (“Healthy Restraint on American Military Interventionism Lost,” Opinion, March 24) is brilliant.
He is not afraid to spell out what many around the world, and in America, have felt from the beginning: The U.S. war on Iraq was an abomination.
Isn’t all the patriotism that is now supposedly sweeping the country sort of a pathetic attempt by the United States to absolve itself for the death and destruction it wrought in the Gulf?
