About That Council Vote in Glendora . . .
I was indeed surprised to learn at the mayor’s prayer breakfast that Glendora had a new mayor and mayor pro tem effective April, 1991. I always pick up the agendas and minutes for the council meetings. When did the council vote on this item? How did I miss that?
If the vote was taken at a council meeting, wouldn’t the minutes reflect that? What was the official vote--4 to 1, 3 to 2? Who supported the motion? Did Larry Glenn or Molly MacLeod vote against themselves, or when did they agree that they should inherit those seats?
If the vote was not taken at an open, public meeting where and when was it taken? Does that constitute a violation of the Brown Act? Perhaps the entire City Council would care to respond so we will be sure the public has access to the decision it is making.

Editor’s Note: Although Mayor Bob Kuhn announced that Larry Glenn was the new mayor and Molly Macleod the new mayor pro tem at the annual mayor’s prayer breakfast, the elections haven’t been held. They are scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at City Hall.
