Countywide : $2 Fee Rise OKd for Some Court Filings
The Ventura County Board of Supervisors has approved a $2 fee increase for the filing of certain papers in Municipal and Superior courts, effective May 1.
The increase, which will expire Jan. 1, 1996, will allow the county to buy computers, computer programming and camera equipment for the microfilming of court documents. Projected revenue from the increase is expected to be $256,155 through fiscal year 1995-96.
The cost now for filing for divorce, guardianship, conservatorship or a petition to contest a will is $117.
