Guest Again: Jay Leno has signed on for a third year as exclusive guest host of “The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson,” NBC announced Wednesday. Leno’s contract continues through the 1991-92 TV season. The comedian has been viewed as the probable successor to Carson, who signed on for another year on Monday but has indicated he wants to move on. “I’m delighted that Jay is continuing with the show,” Carson said. Leno countered: “Aside from the audience, there are only two people that I really try to please in this business: myself and Johnny Carson.”
