Movie Producer Links With Japanese: Movie producer Edward R. Pressman’s company has received a $15-million cash infusion from Japan’s ASCII Pictures Corp., a subsidiary of computer software and chip manufacturer ASCII Corp. The deal gives ASCII a 33.3% stake in Pressman’s privately held company. Pressman, who has made such films as “Reversal of Fortune” and “Wall Street,” said the two companies hope to attract more financial partners in the future.
