Have Dodgers Made Some Gross Errors?

I know it’s early in the season, yet I can’t help but think that the signing of Kevin Gross is beginning to bring back nightmares of free-agent pitcher signings of seasons gone by. He appears to be the reincarnation of Dave Goltz. Or is it Don Stanhouse? For Lasorda to have recommended the acquisition, what was he thinking? Has Tommy’s weight-loss program got him having delusions?
