Stan Gelbaugh, the World League of American Football’s top-ranked passer, completed 29 of 39 passes for 361 yards and three touchdowns to lead the unbeaten London Monarchs (6-0) past the winless Raleigh-Durham Skyhawks, 35-10, before 33,997 at Wembley, England.

The Skyhawks trailed just 14-10 at halftime, then got to the London three on the first possession of the second half when Bobby McAllister threw to Melvin Patterson on a 72-yard pass play. However, McAllister fumbled on third and goal and Roy Hart recovered for the Monarchs.

Two quick touchdowns by the Monarchs then put the game away.
