Syncor Adds Kentucky Center to Its Network
Syncor International Corp. said it has acquired Bluegrass Nuclear Associates, which operates a nuclear pharmacy center in Lexington, Ky. The purchase price was not disclosed.
Syncor, based in Chatsworth, runs a nationwide chain of such centers, which prepare radioactive drugs and other specialty pharmaceuticals such as those that help doctors view patients’ internal organs.
The Bluegrass Nuclear purchase is part of Syncor’s “strategy of adding quality locations” to its existing network, which includes 102 pharmacies, Syncor said.
