COMING ATTRACTION: After months of delays, the Walt Disney Co. says it will unveil on May 9 plans for a $1-billion expansion in Anaheim. . . . The announcement raises the stakes in the head-to-head competition between Anaheim and Long Beach for Disney’s next big expansion. In Long Beach, the company’s plans call for a water-themed resort called “Port Disney.” The Anaheim plan--which some are calling “Disneyland Resort”--calls for new exhibits or “lands,” new hotels and a modern transportation system.
