Honor for Builders: The Orange County Community Housing Council, the county’s oldest and largest nonprofit developer of affordable housing, will honor a dozen local builders, city officials and individuals this morning for their efforts in finding solutions to the Southland’s affordable-housing problems.
The builder recipients, all to be honored for their participation in the HomeAid projects of the county Building Industry Assn., are:
Bob Albertson, president of Presley of Southern California in Newport Beach; Bart Hansen, a principal of Shawntana Development in Newport Beach; Mike Engle, senior vice president of Southwest Diversified in Irvine; Les Thomas, vice president of M.J. Brock & Sons in Laguna Hills; and Bill York, president of the Southern California Division of Shea Homes in Walnut.
