Palmdale Man Dies From Gunshot Wound
A 19-year-old Palmdale man died Monday of a head wound received when he was hit by one of several bullets fired into his living room.
Fidencio Muro was pronounced dead at 1:45 p.m. at Antelope Valley Hospital Medical Center, hospital spokeswoman Frankie Richards said.
Muro and another person were sitting in his living room and two other people were seated in the kitchen of his apartment in the 500 block East Avenue Q-12 when three or four shots were fired about 8:50 p.m. Saturday, said Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Deputy Patrick Hunter. The group heard numerous gunshots and three of them took cover. They heard glass breaking and saw Muro fall wounded, Hunter said.
The investigation, which was turned over to homicide detectives Monday, had not determined a motive for the shooting, Hunter said.
