Man’s Best Friend
The other morning as I was waiting in my car for the light to change, I noticed a homeless man and his dog. The man had stopped pushing his shopping cart and was lifting his large dog up, placing him on top of all his belongings. He then stroked the dog’s head, patted his back and, in turn, received a devoted lick from his pet. It was a brief moment of friendship, understanding and harmony in the life of two homeless beings and a joy to watch.
