Protecting Our Turf
Regarding the story “Cardiff Homeowners Fear Strawberry Fields Aren’t Forever” (April 30): Most people who don’t live in California think that those of us who do live here are “laid back” and that our motto is “Live and let live.”
Well, anyone who reads the paper or watches television news knows the opposite is true.
We Californians’ motto should be: “I’ve got mine, and I damn well guarantee I’ll fight to the death to keep you from getting yours!”
