Perkins Commits to CS Long Beach

Prentice Perkins of Corona del Mar High School has orally committed to play volleyball at Cal State Long Beach in the fall, her club coach, Charlie Brande, said Tuesday.

Perkins, a 5-foot-6 setter and a member of The Times’ all-county first team, chose Long Beach over USC. She led Corona del Mar to the State Division I and Southern Section 5-A titles last fall.
