Santa Monica : Show Features Modernism
Decorative, fine and applied arts, including furniture, made between 1900 and 1990 will be featured in the fourth annual Los Angeles Modernism Show from Saturday through Monday at the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium at Main Street and Pico Boulevard.
Seventy-five American and European galleries are scheduled to participate in the show, which will include examples of American arts and crafts, the Prairie School, Art Nouveau, Bauhaus, Art Moderne, pop art and other 20th-Century styles. All items are for sale.
A preview benefit will be held Friday to aid the Ocean Park Community Center in Santa Monica. Benefit tickets are $50.
