Council Election Coverage Balanced
Over the past few weeks, I have really been impressed with the outstanding job the Los Angeles Times Valley section has done on the Bernson-Korenstein race in the 12th Council District.
The articles have been substantive, balanced and get to the genuine issues involved.
I remember clearly, especially back in 1973 when I first ran, there was one story on the primary and one on the general election.
Of course, there was no daily Valley section then.
With this kind of coverage, every voter who cares to know can easily learn enough about the candidates and the issues to make a wise decision on election day.
