Kemper Defended

In the matter of an article (Times, May 23) written by Duke Helfand regarding Norma Kemper, I am truly disgusted with how this whole thing is being steered away from the real issue at hand by some of Mrs. Kemper’s most vocal critics, Steve Martin and Jeff Prang.

I ask Mr. Martin and Mr. Prang: Is prostitution, drug dealing, irresponsible cruising and open sexual activity OK with them?

I am finding their militant actions are extremely inflammatory to the entire community over issues we have overcome in West Hollywood long ago.

I challenge Mssrs. Martin and Prang to find solutions to problems in our community, not create them!
