MISSION VIEJO : 2 Council Meetings Will Be Televised
City Council meetings will be televised on a local cable channel beginning June 10.
The council voted last week to televise the June 10 and 24 sessions on a trial basis. The meetings will be aired on cable access Channel 3 on June 15 and June 29 from 6 p.m. to midnight.
“I don’t expect our market share will rival ‘Cosby’ or even ‘The Simpsons,’ ” Mayor Robert A. Curtis said. “However, this will be a welcome opportunity for many interested residents to view the affairs of local government from the comfort of their living room.”
