Israeli Airlift of Ethiopian Jews

What must the Arabs of the West Bank and Gaza Strip think of their plight as they watch “Operation Solomon”? Why have their fellow Arabs and co-religionists--overflowing with oil wealth and possessed of almost limitless land--not rescued them from the state of bondage in which they see themselves?

Israel at its heart remains a model one wishes the world would emulate. With all of its political turmoil, internecine squabbles and militarism, with its overwhelming economic and social problems, already exacerbated by its taking in of hundreds of thousands of Russian Jews, Israel has never wavered in its determination that “never again” will Jews of any stripe, from anywhere, be without a safe haven. I was moved to tears as I read your articles.

Will any Arab or Muslim nation be moved to action?
