Metzger Agrees to Stop Selling Simpson T-Shirts
White supremacist Tom Metzger agreed Monday to stop selling T-shirts that depict cartoon kid Bart Simpson as a Nazi.
The Los Angeles judgment settles a copyright infringement lawsuit filed by 20th Century Fox.
Under the settlement, Metzger is barred from selling or using copyrighted material from “The Simpsons,” Fox Broadcasting Co.’s hugely successful cartoon family. Fox sued Metzger after the Anti-Defamation League of B’nai Brith informed the studio that Metzger’s White Aryan Resistance group was selling T-shirts showing Bart in full Nazi uniform.
