VENTURA : Planning Agency Seats New Member
Ingrid Elsel, a local planning consultant, has taken a seat on the Ventura Planning Commission.
The City Council appointed Elsel to the commission at its May 6 meeting to replace Marilynn Viles, whose second four-year term expired earlier this year.
Elsel has lived in Ventura for 12 years. Her firm, Ingrid Elsel Associates, does private consulting for the sand and gravel industry. Almost all of her consulting is in other Southern California counties, Elsel said. From 1979 to 1987, she worked as a county planner.
