Assignment Is All Sewn Up
Students in Margaret Harrell’s English as a Second Language history class at West High School in Torrance were each asked to designed a panel for a quilt, using five symbols for that depicted culture, family, religion or activities they enjoyed. The result features 36 panels representing 12 countries.
