Walnut : Open-Space Fees Set
The City Council on Wednesday approved a new schedule of fees for residents who live next to open terrain areas.
The fees, ranging from $57.67 to $628.61 per property owner for fiscal year 1991-92, will be used to maintain the landscape of the terrain. Such fees have been levied by the city since the mid-1970s.
About two dozen property owners in the city’s nine Lighting and Open Space Maintenance District zones will be affected.
