Motorcycles

I’d like to remind everyone that motorcycles solve every traffic-related problem we have. Four or five bikes fit in a single-car parking space. The emissions are one-tenth to one-quarter that of cars. They achieve twice, triple, even quadruple the fuel efficiency of most cars. And they ease congestion since every motorcycle on the road is one less car in front of you.

So while this helmet debate rages on, keep in mind that the motorcyclist is already doing everyone a great favor: cleaner air, cheaper gas, easier parking, less traffic. While we’re struggling to better our environment a few percentage points (car pools, emission controls, etc.), motorcycles offer a one-stop solution approaching 100%!

Oh, and they’re fun, too.
