Tes Whitlock of Loara High School had 23 points as a team of seniors from Orange County defeated a Tri-Counties team, 119-76, in the Santa Barbara Vacation Classic at Dos Pueblos High School in Goleta.
Whitlock was selected the game’s most valuable player. Cherokee Parks of Marina had 17 points and 15 rebounds and Ryan Martin of Ocean View had 14 points for Orange County, which led at the half, 55-37.
The Tri-Counties team was composed of players from Ventura, San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara counties.
