That match was suspended because of darkness with Wheaton leading, 6-3, 4-4.

Top-seeded Horst Skoff and unseeded Thomas Muster won semifinal matches to set up an all-Austrian final at Florence, Italy.

Skoff beat Eduardo Masso of Argentina, 6-4, 6-4, and Muster outlasted Carlos Costa of Spain, 6-7, 6-1, 6-3.

Muster is coming back from a second knee operation that sidelined him for several weeks.

Skoff and Muster are teammates in the Austrian Davis Cup team.

Semifinal play in the Edgbaston women’s grass court tournament at Birmingham, England, was postponed because of rain. Officials decided both semifinals and the final will be played today.
