No Way but Up: Think junior has been lazing around the house too much lately?

Maybe it’s time for the child’s adaptation of the VersaClimber, a climbing exercise machine developed by Heart Rate Inc. of Costa Mesa. The company has devised an adapter for the pedals on its climbing machine for adults so that children age 10 or older can use it for lower- or full-body workouts.

“Kids really enjoy the VersaClimber because most kinds like to climb fences, hills, walls, trees and any other high objects, said Dick Charnitski, president of Heart Rate. The “kiddie climber” option is offered at no additional charge.
