VENTURA : Lawyer Denies LSD Charges in Court
A Ventura attorney pleaded not guilty Tuesday to charges of conspiracy to possess and possession of LSD.
Douglas A. Palaschak entered his plea before Ventura County Municipal Judge Ken W. Riley, who scheduled a preliminary hearing for July 11.
Palaschak, 42, has been released on his promise to appear in court.
He has acknowledged using the drug at a small office party May 9.
But he insists that LSD and another mood-altering drug, Ecstasy, should be legal.
He also has said he expects to prevail in court.
