Beverly Hills : Sentence for Bomb Threats
Beverly Hills resident Kurt Haber has been sentenced to work 1,000 hours with Amnesty International, the human rights group, for making terrorist threats against the Arab-American Anti-Discrimination Committee after the outbreak of the Persian Gulf War.
Haber, 60, pleaded no contest to two felony counts of making bomb threats against the organization after Iraq launched missiles at Israel. He was also placed on probation for five years.
