Readers Declare Open Season on Murray
Fifty-year setback! The only thing set back for 50 years by the U.S. Open is Jim Murray’s writing about golf. Once again, Murray has displayed his ignorance about the finer points of golf. Murray writes about golf as it were 50 years ago (no Hogans or Sneads today!).
Contrary to Murray’s opinion, golf pros today are better than ever. The 18-hole playoff was a thrilling match between two of the best players in the world. Murray continues to live in the past.
