A Couple of Things Wrong With the Game
Whatever happened to the four-man pitching rotation? In today’s so-called major leagues, a kid in the prime of life is asked to pitch six or seven innings and then he requires a four-day vacation to recuperate.
The argument, that working with only three days’ rest will shorten the span of their careers, makes me laugh. In two or three years, these kids make enough money to retire for life.
If the Angels had been on a four-man rotation this year, at one point their record would have been 40-22.
