Who decided “Why They Write . . . and Write . . . and Write” was a quality article, let alone deserving Page 1 space?

What editor took Ms. de Avila’s letter to be about “Psycho” when it concerned mediocrity?

What editor buried the review of Kate Braverman’s “Squandering the Blue” deep inside?

We should be supporting West Coast writers, not hiding them. But what do I know about standards?
