Girl, 10, Says She Was Kidnaped and Raped
A 10-year-old Sierra Madre girl was being treated at Huntington Memorial Hospital Saturday after she reported being kidnaped and raped the night before, police said.
The youngster told police she was abducted at about 7 p.m. Friday by a man driving a white car that appeared to be a Camaro. Her abductor apparently took her into the San Gabriel Mountains and raped her overnight, Officer Don Smith said. He returned her at 3 p.m. Saturday to a corner a few hundred feet from where she was kidnaped.
Police throughout the region have been alerted to be on the lookout for the car, which was described as having a torn, red interior. Smith said a partial license of 2 GNJ was reported.
