Letter writer Annie Caroline Schuler, who criticized U.S. car executives for getting seven-digit salaries, does an injustice to American auto workers, who not only lose their jobs but also lack a wage to qualify for buying a new home.

Why make the workers in this country suffer because you don’t like the disparity in wages that has nothing to do with the fact that the Japanese will purposely dump whatever they can to topple our American industries? Did you forget they were out to destroy us at Pearl Harbor?

Tell me, what Japanese auto plant has closed since World War II? Let’s not destroy America because we oppose someone’s pay scale.
