Our family watches “Empty Nest” (Saturday, NBC) only because of Barbara (Dinah Manoff). We turn the TV off when Charley (David Leisure) and LaVerne (Park Overall) are on the screen, because we do not tolerate their boorishness. We have great senses of humor, but crude is not funny.
