Remembering Ashcroft

Rarely has an article of appreciation been written as beautifully as Sylvie Drake’s about Dame Peggy Ashcroft (“Ashcroft’s Work Reflects Inner Grace,” Calendar, June 19). You have certainly captured the very essence of this lady’s acting abilities. How unfortunate that this type of true artist is almost extinct.
