Furon Sees Earnings Decline: Hurt by the recession, Furon Co., a Laguna Niguel manufacturer of industrial components, said it expects its second-quarter earnings to decline 60%, to less than $880,000, compared to earnings of $2.3 million for the year-ago period. Michael Hagan, chief executive, said sales are expected to decline 10% to about $75 million, from $84.4 million a year earlier.
