Sununu’s Controversial Travels
As a taxpayer who contributes to Sununu’s substantial salary, I feel another important aspect of the transportation issue is being overlooked. If this man is such a vital member of Bush’s staff, why has he been permitted to take these personal jaunts and to attend GOP fund-raisers at my expense? Are these junkets charged against his vacation time? Why doesn’t his boss need him in Washington?
Apparently Sununu prefers travel to the rigors of his very important job; therefore, he should do all of us a favor and seek employment elsewhere. He is not giving the taxpayers their money’s worth.
